Operational Response to COVID-19

Atlanta, Georgia United States 23-March-2020

The COVID-19 health crisis is presenting our world with unprecedented challenges in our lifetime. Our thoughts and well wishes are with everyone affected by COVID-19. On behalf of Omni Business Solutions, Inc., I want to extend a personal note to let you know how we as a global company are working to protect our employees, customers, partners and everyone in the communities we serve. The coronavirus threat is a rapidly evolving situation and we will continue to closely monitor developments. For more information about the COVID-19, including risk assessments please visit the World Health Organization www.who.int and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention www.cdc.gov websites.

Our approach has always been health and safety first; and it remains our highest priority. COVID-19 has significantly impacted our world and the way that many organizations are doing business. We are aware some our customers in vital vertical markets must maintain the ability to operate during this crisis.  We understand your expectation of fulfilment and Omni Business Solutions is committed to being responsive to the needs of our customers as this dynamic situation evolves.

Omni Business Solutions have been monitoring and carefully evaluating the situation, following the guidance of public health officials and listening to our associates from around the world. The safety of our customers and associates is our first priority. Although, our current operations model is designed for similar circumstances, we have implemented additional procedures and policies for the last several weeks to take care of our people, our customers, and our communities.

We would like to share global and local initiatives we are taking to protect the health and safety of our colleagues, customers and partners, while mitigating business impacts. Some of these steps include the following:

  • Implementing a work-from-home schedule for a period of time to reduce the risk of possible exposure
  • Increasing sanitizing and cleaning routines in facilities and encouraging colleagues to use good hygiene practices, including frequent handwashing
  • Restricting business travel for colleagues
  • Requiring colleagues to work from home for a period of time if they have traveled to high-risk areas – or have had any direct contact with others who have
  • Educating colleagues about the virus and sharing resources on how to keep the workplace clean
  • Asking visitors to disclose recent travel history before facility entry is granted or denying access to those who have traveled to, through or from high-risk areas – or have been in direct contact with those who have
  • Limiting gatherings, postponing events or utilize collaboration tools to allow for appropriate social distancing and safety of attendees
  • Ceasing customer pick-up of orders from all global distribution facilities for an added layer of protection
  • Implementing additional safety measures for carriers who pick up and deliver to our facilities for the safety of all involved

Our Global distribution centers are increasing warehouse inventory to ensure continued fulfillment on demand and to minimize the impact to our customers. We are managing our supply chain and making every effort to understand and offset the potential impact of production and delivery delays.

In addition, we are providing updates to our teams with the necessary information and protocols to ensure minimum disruptions, and to make sure we are doing everything we can to provide support our client base requires. We have developed a cross-functional incident response team that is meeting regularly to assess the situation, ensure team member safety and provide guidance and support to all our global stakeholders.

We are determined to provide consistent, dependable service to all the customers we serve during this unsettling time. All of Omni Business Solutions employees and consultants affected by this outbreak can count on being paid for their regularly scheduled hours and or commissions — whether due to office closure, reduced hours or other circumstances outlined by our Human Resource management.

During this time of uncertainty, we are reflecting upon our mission, corporate culture, and most of all… our tagline “We provide certainty, in an uncertain world…” Omni Business Solutions wishes all people of the world to remain healthy and safe and that COVID-19 disperses quickly.
