The Pinnacle Society of DeVry University Alumni Association inducts Nelson Brown, a DeVry Alumni and CEO - Omni Business Solutions, Inc. The Pinnacle Society is the highest possible honor for its uppermost achieving alumni. Membership in the Pinnacle Society is extended by invitation only from the Office of Alumni Relations, following evaluation of candidates based on defined criteria. Invitations to prospective members are shared at regular times during the calendar year. The society is designed to facilitate an environment in which members can continue to grow and create something even greater, together. DeVry University offers life-long access to specially designed services to assist graduates in finding employment in their field of study. In 2012, 90% of DeVry University graduates actively seeking employment had careers in their field within 6 months of graduation. Nelson Brown is excitedly working with DeVry University Alumni Relations and Career Services to discuss an advance industry technology internship sponsored by Omni Business Solutions to improve the employment rate. In today’s increasingly technology-driven marketplace, it’s critical to keep up with the latest innovations and solutions to stay ahead of the competition and secure employment. The internship program will provide the additional industry guidance, knowledge and certifications to prepare DeVry students and alumnus to support that demand. Also this fall Nelson Brown plans to meet Anthony Stanziani - President of DeVry University of New York to motivate students, speak on various career paths and his success story. Furthermore, through his corporate relationships Nelson Brown plans to rally additional corporate sponsors and provide financial support in an attempt to assist DeVry University surpass their heritage.

Mr. Brown was a recently a guest speaker/panelist at the 2014 Microsoft World Partner Conference. He has earned 16 IT Certifications, affiliated with 8 IT Professional Associations and received 6 industry awards.
