According to the 2015 statistics of the National Cancer Institute, American Cancer Society and John Hopkins Medical Center; Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women. It’s estimated that over 230,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 40,000 will die. Unfortunately there are many more unpleasant breast cancer statistics that lead to the deprivation of hope and life.
NBCF saves lives by providing underserved women free mammograms, early detection services and breast cancer education. Since 2001 NBCF has provided an estimated 937,500 early detection and breast health services to women in need. Every day they strive to provide lifesaving services in partnership with over 80 hospitals across all 50 states. “After engaging in a few meetings with the NBCF’s development staff, particularly Cinthia Gonzalez - Development Coordinator, Brooke Walford - Sponsor Coordinator and Lauren Futch - Fundraising Manager, I was impressed with their vision, dedication and professionalism to fulfill Janelle Hail’s - Founder & CEO mission.
